Hi there,

Welcome to April’s Remote Roundup, where I bring you the latest in guidance and research in remote consultation. I aim to add to your knowledge and promote best practice in this, our new normal.

This month I have stumbled upon a theme of mental health. I have included some research on the effects of the pandemic and on the suitability of remote consultations. There are also some fantastic resources that you can provide your patients with.

We also have the updated NICE guidance for managing Covid-19 and the PHE guidance for managing re-infection with Covid-19. There are also some words of wisdom from the almighty Roger Neighbour amongst other gems that we have found in the world of remote consultations.

Do you have any experience of lessons learnt, or good practice in remote consultations that you think we could all learn from? If so, please send me an email and maybe we could feature your story in the next Remote Roundup!

Highlights

Thanks for reading. I’m delighted I’ve held your attention to the end, but I’m sure I could have done better! If there is anything else you would like to see included in the Remote Roundup, please let me know.

If you liked this update and want to support it, please send the link to a friend or colleague.

Stay safe,

Adam
