Hi there,

Welcome to the October edition of the Remote Roundup, where I bring you the latest in guidance and research in remote consultation. This will be our 14th and final edition.

This month I have chosen a theme of the future of telemedicine. The pandemic has rapidly increased the use of telemedicine, but as restrictions have lifted there has been increased pressure on general practice to see more patients face to face. While this is a positive, the progress we have made in remote medicine should not be lost and this is echoed through the articles I have found this month.

I hope that you have found these updates useful, and that I was able to help add to your knowledge in this new normal that we are all experiencing. I hope that our paths will cross again in the world of remote consultation, and please do feel free to send me an email at any time.
